GETTIN DOWN WITH THE BREHM'S IN AZ. 5/22/03

THREE GUESSES WHERE WE ARE............

We made it! Feels good to be on the road again. We arrived thursday, 5/19 after putting the coach in the shop to get the dash air working again. There is an electrically driven vacuum pump located in the engine compartment which was kaput. Replaced it, cost mostly covered by warranty. We spent the night at the shop and left the next morning. Since our last adventure, we purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. It had to be setup for towing behind the motorhome. Mechanical base plate, electrics, and air brake mods. I did it all myself, so the test was on. Mission accomplished. Everything worked great. Hope you are all doing well....

God Bless, Bert & Betty...............

DAT OLE MAN RIBBAH, HE DON'T DO NOTHIN.....

Looking north up the river. Next weekend, Memorial Day, is typically a zoo here. Can't wait. Lot's of fun.

DRY HEAT AND WET WATER

The good old Colorado River at Parker, right behind our campsite. River levels are high, no sand bars, and surprizingly, not a lot of water traffic.

SOUTHSIDE POOL AREA

As you can see, the pool is not crowded at all. It is about 11:00 am on Saturday. Temp probably about 92.

OASIS BAR AT POOLSIDE

The pool area is really neat. There is a full size pool, a kidie's pool and a hot spa on either side of the bar. The bar serves beer, wine, and mixed drinks, plus pub grub, dinner, and breakfast. Beer's are $1.00 for 16 oz. Sports are always playing on the TV's and lot's of karaoke in the evenings.

CAMP EMERALD COVE

This is our campsite at Emerald Cove in Parker, AZ. It's what they call a "Super Site" due to it"s size. I'm pretty sure we could get two 40 footers, and a tow car in here at the same time.
